Notes: This is what my mind thought should happen while watching 1.09, "Po'ipu." AKA, an excuse to add whump. This really won't make any sense if you haven't seen that episode, as the action picks up when the team is holed up in Steve's house. Summary: All Steve can think of is the conversation he and Danny had at the start of the case, when Danny said he was sick at the thought of taking a bullet for Pak. Steve had said it wouldn't come to that. He's never been more wrong in his life.

The story I had originally planned on posting for this got corrupted over the weekend (moral of the story--save in more than one place), so I came up with this really quick this weekend. It doesn't fulfill any specific prompt, other than the fact that you like Kirk, Spock, and McCoy interaction, so... hope it works!
Notes the second: Lots of shameless, unbeta'd fluff. Title is from the Hippocratic Oath, in case you were wondering.

Prompt: Any season. Sam is temporarily blinded, but they're not sure/don't know it's temporary.

Notes: Sorry I'm late--I couldn't get on to LJ for most of the day. Lots of medical references here. I'm an English major, not a doctor. Ergo, some stuff might be wrong. Let me know if there are issues--I'm always glad to learn more. Also, I didn't have a lot to go on for the mind meld section, so... do with that as you will. This chapter has a lot of inspiration from littlefairy78's Supernatural story "Sleep Eternal", so mega thanks to her for the inspiration (and for letting me use her story as my muse for this story).
Notes the second: Some bad news on the posting front--I'm going on vacation next weekend, and due to the sudden increase of activity in my social life (I have one of those? Who knew?) it's going to be impossible for me to finish another chapter before I leave. Therefore, the next chapter will be posted July 31.
