Title: Darkness Holding Me Tightly
Rating: T
Genre: Gen, angst, h/c
Characters: Sam, Dean, Bobby
Spoilers/warnings: Follows right after 2.10 "Hunted", with various quotes from other episodes. So spoilers up through that point.
Length: Approx. 7400 words
Notes: Written for [profile] cgf_kat over at the [livejournal.com profile] summer_sam_love  exchange. Many, many apologies for the lateness. (Better late than never, I do suppose...) Thanks to [personal profile] faye_dartmouth for the awesome last-minute beta, and for having the patience of a saint. Also thanks to [livejournal.com profile] eightiswild for giving me the encouragement to go with this particular story line.
Prompt: Any season. Sam is temporarily blinded, but they're not sure/don't know it's temporary.

Summary: After a hunt goes bad, Sam has more issues to deal with than just his resulting blindness.

Light filters out from the cavern ahead, casting the narrow stone passageway with a soft blue glow. )

Title: Honest Soldiers
Rating: T... mostly for language
Genre: Family, h/c, angst
Spoilers/warnings: Spoilers for 4.22. AU as soon as Season 5 starts
Length: Just over 1100 words.
Notes: Another response to the h/c meme, this time for [profile] spuffy_girl .
Notes the second: For some reason, my oneshots keep coming out in present tense. No clue why, but I suspect it's the dramatic music I play while I write.
Disclaimer: Title, epigraph are inspired/written by Guster. SPN is not mine. (Season 5 would be on-air right now, and there'd be lots and lots of hugging if there was.)

Summary: It’s been over two years, but Dean still recognizes a vision when he sees one. Post 4.22.

It happens without warning. )

Title: To Make Things Right
Rating: T... mostly for language
Genre: Family, h/c, some angst
Spoilers/warnings: Spoilers for 4.08 "Wishful Thinking"
Length: Just over 2000 words.
Notes: This is my response to [livejournal.com profile] authoressnebula 's prompt over at the SPN h/c meme. It kinda grew out of control... to the point where it's too long to post in one go, so I figured I'd just post it here. :) Heheheh...
Notes the second: I've been writing nothing but Star Trek for the last couple weeks, so hopefully this isn't too rusty. *g*

Summary: Sam's brush with lightning hasn't quite finished with him yet. Tag to 4.08.

His finger won't stop twitching. )

Title: Before I Sleep
Rating: K+
Genre: Family, a little h/c
Spoilers/warnings: None.
Length: Just over 2200 words.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Title is from Robert Frost.
Notes: This is something I wrote awhile back and finally decided to post. No specific season, although I imagine it during season 1... probably after "Skin". You can decide, though. Also, it came out in the present tense. Not sure why, but... meh. That's my muse for you.
Notes the second: I do believe this is my first fic where Dean's the limp one and not Sam. Just goes to show that there are strange anomalies in this world.

Summary: Winchesters and camping generally don't mix. But Sam doesn't mind it as much any more. Schmoop, protective/hurt!Dean, some mildly hurt!Sam.

The trees are thick, dense, crowded almost to the point of claustrophobic )

Title: Cost
Rating: K+ (one curse word)
Genre: Angst, family
Spoilers/warnings: Specific for 4.21, 2.21
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Word Count: 100
Notes: Drabble tag to 4.21 - aka, what could've happened not long after Sam walked out the door. I have not seen 4.22 yet, so any similarities to any scene are purely coincidental. Also taggish sort of thing to 2.21... you'll see.

Summary: Dean knows the cost. But that doesn't matter - not really.

You question your choice. )

Title: Finding Equilibrium
Rating: K+
Genre: Angst, family, h/c
Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers for 1.01.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Lyrics at beginning are from "Monday Morning Church" by Alan Jackson.
Notes: Tag to 1.01 - takes place just before 1.02. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] eightiswild for the awesome beta work.

Summary: It'd been a week since flames had changed the course of Winchester history - again. Dean had never felt more helpless in his life.

Deep down, Dean was glad that it had been Jess on that ceiling. )

Title: The Way the World Ends
Rating: T
Genre: Angst, family, AU
Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers fair game through 3.13. My version of the end.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Title courtesy Eliot's "The Hollow Men"
Notes: This fic is completely and totally dedicated 100 percent to [livejournal.com profile] authoressnebula . Not only did one of her thoughts in her journal inspire the beginning of it ages ago, but her recent fic "War Is Over" inspired me to get my rear in gear and finish it. So here you go, Neb. Hope you enjoy mine as much as I enjoyed yours.
Notes the second: Do I think this is how Kripke & Co. are going to end it? No. Do I care? Not really. This is fanfiction, after all. ~_^ Also, running unbeta'd again.
Notes the third: I'm counting this one as another one of my "experimental" fics, mostly because of the style, but partly because of the content. (I've never really conjectured anything before... I usually set my stories farther back in the series.)

Summary: On the first day of the beginning of The End, Dean doesn't even know what's going on.

In this last of meeting places... )

Title: Memory
Challenge: Memory over at [livejournal.com profile] brothers100
Rating: K+
Genre: Family, wee!chester
Word Count: 200
Fandom/Characters: Supernatural - Dean, Sam
Spoilers/warnings: Schmoop. Do we need warnings for schmoop?
Notes: Pre-season dialogue fic. Sam's 8, Dean's 12. Really just an excuse for some wee!chester goodness. Because we all need some of that every once in awhile. And yes, I know 8-year-olds that have memorized the Gettysburg Address, in case you're wondering.

Come on, Sammy, you can do this. )

Title: These Days
Rating: T
Genre: Angst, family, h/c
Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers for 3.16. AU after that.
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Notes: This is the sequel to "One Hundred Nine Hours and Thirteen Minutes." I'd recommend reading that first if you haven't. Also, this was written in the summer and was completed before Season 4 ever aired. (Also written without ever looking at any spoilers for Season 4.) Partly journal, partly third person POV.
Notes the second: The first part (in italics) happens after the second part. Hopefully it makes sense without me giving a lot away. (And this happens through the entire fic, so if you're confused, let me know, and I'll explain.)

Summary: The path to recovery is more like a winding mountain road. Post 3.16, AU Season 4.

Title: One hundred nine hours and thirteen minutes
Rating: T
Genres: Angst, AU, h/c, family
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Notes: This was written before the premiere of Season 4, and it was my take of what could have happened post 3.16. So basically, it's got spoilers through Season 3, but then goes AU from there. And it's also a prequel to my multi-chaptered fic "These Days", which I will be posting up over the next couple of weeks.

Thirty-five hours and fourteen minutes after he died, Sam’s eyes shot open and he gasped. )

Title: Where They'll Always Take You Back
Rating: T
Genre: Family/friendship, angst, drama, with a smidgen of humor.
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Length: Just a smidge over 6,200 words.
Notes: This is the first of what I'm calling my "experimental" fics. Got a lot of new stuff that I'm working on that's out of my typical style range. So let me know what you think of this particular style. Mega-thanks to [livejournal.com profile] eightiswild for betaing for me and helping me get rid of a lot of unnecessary commas (among other things). Seriously. You need a weed-whacker to get through all my commas the first time around.

Summary: One of the Seven is overdue. History has not proven kind to those in their little band that were overdue.

Anything? )

Title: Ya Had a Bad Day
Rating: T
Genres: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Friendship, Family, Romance, Suspense
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Notes: This was a response to a challenge over at Psychfic. It won the Silver Pineapple for Best Whump (the Boo Boo Award) in the 2008 Psychfic Awards. Also cross-posted at FanFiction.net. (Although I have cleaned it up slightly... mainly just correcting grammatical errors. Nothing too earth-shattering.) Does contain Shules (Shawn/Juliet).

Summary: Shawn's having a really bad day. And it keeps getting worse.

1. Did someone order an early morning wake-up call? )

Title: Problem Solving
Author: moogsthewriter
Rating: T for suicidal thoughts, mild swearing, blood
Genres: Angst, family, h/c, drama
Length: Just over 5,300 words

Summary
: Dean may be ticked off, but he's not going to let his brother go just yet. Post 4.04 "Metamorphosis"

Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers for season 4. Specific references to 4.01, 4.03, 4.04, and a few vague references to 4.09 (if you squint really hard). Still haven't seen 4.10, so no (intentional) spoilers for that. Suicidal tendencies (although they are rather atypical of "normal" suicide tendencies...), angsty, limp!Sam, angsty, bigbro!Dean, and schmoop. Quite a bit of schmoop.

Author's notes: Written for a request from [livejournal.com profile] spuffy_girl, who's been having not such a good week. Hope this makes you feel better, sweetie! Thanks to eight for the super-quick beta. Specific episode quotes are courtesy of supernatural.tv, and I don't own "Never Too Late." Don't own Supernatural, either, and I make no money. Just feedback, which is currency enough for me.

Title: The Hollow Men
Author: moogsthewriter
Rating: PG
Genres: Angst, Family

Summary:
They can't understand each other anymore. But that doesn't mean they won't try.

Spoilers: Tag to 4.04 "Metamorphosis" and 4.08 "Wishful Thinking."

Disclaimer: Inspired by a poem by T.S. Eliot (which is where the title comes from). I don't own the poem or Supernatural. Also, I have NOT seen 4.10 yet (for some really odd reasons that would take awhile to explain), so I have no idea if this really fits anymore. But my beta, eightiswild, looked this over and didn't mention anything like that, so I think I'm good. Mega-thanks to her for making sure this is good enough to post.

Title: Save me from this darkness
Author: me
Rating: T
Genres: Angst, hurt/comfort, family, episode tag
Summary: Sam's been hunted before. But never like this.
Spoilers: Season Four up to Metamorphosis (4.04)
Author's notes: Tag to 4.04. A little late, yeah. Whatever. It's been stewing in my mind for awhile. Mega-thanks to eightiswild for the beta. Without her advice, this would not have an ending and would have a heck of a lot more mistakes. Any remaining mistakes are my own. (Or perhaps my computer's - it's been acting up.)
Disclaimer: Still not mine.

Title: Guardian
Author: moogsthewriter
Rating: K+ (PG-13) for mild language
Genres: Hurt/comfort, angst, family, drama
Summary: Thirty people were gone. Vanished without a trace. And Sam was number thirty-one. But that made no difference to Dean.
Notes: Companion fic to authoressnebula's "Closed In." Set sometime in season 1.
More notes: I asked authoressnebula if I could write "Closed In" from Dean's point of view, and she was gracious enough to give me the privilege. You don't have to read her story to understand mine, but it's a great story and I hightly encourage everyone to read it and give her some feedback, as she is a great writer. As always, feedback is much appreciated on my end as well.
Disclaimer:  It's not mine. And in this fic, not even the plotline is mine - neither is the dialogue between Sam and Dean or the ending line. That's all authoress's work.
