That was a great story. You really had Kirk, McCoy and Spock in character and I liked how McCoy was busy with small gestures to comfort Kirk when he was coughing or throwing up, all of which he was doing in an almost absent-minded way as he continued talking with both him and Spock. Like it was second nature to him *g*

I also enjoyed seeing the burgeoning friendship between Spock and McCoy. Again you kept it completely realistic to the characters and it made complete sense that it starts to grow out of their shared friendship with Kirk, and their shared task of keeping him in one piece :)

I very much enjoyed that.
