I adore S1 fic -- back when the brothers were, you know, brothers -- and you capture that touchingly here even though Dean isn't with Sam to begin with.

I thought Pat the bartender was going to say that Sam had been in earlier pouring his heart out and that's how he knew they were brothers; I loved the plot point that Sam had worked for Pat who gave Dean some insight into his little brother.

And really, I think I have to go with Jess on this one...it was Sam's ass that brought in the business :)
